Using scraps

As I am now a jewellery maker turned card crafter I found an interesting use for a scrap of ribbon. The ribbon was tied around some slipper socks I bought, I was going to throw it out but I thought I would use it as a card embellishment.

I have Google news alerts on my PC for Scrapbooking so I can keep up with the latest news. Imagaine my delight when my own press release came into my inbox this morning. So yesterday's hard work paid off!

Christmas card toppers are hard work

Today I spent a long time trying to promote the new website http://www.cardtoppers4crafts.com/ A lot of hard work has gone into creating some really beautiful image so that crafters can create really beautiful unique cards and scrapbooking embellishments.

It has been a long slog today updating the official website blog and also dealing with various PR website interfaces that are incredibly frustrating.



I have some really good ideas for cards and new scrapbooking projects, but I just don't know when I am going to get the time - I can't believe it's the 21st December already - where has the year gone.
